Compact. Powerful. Continuous soft water. Designed to last decades.
The Harvey MiniMax M3 is the 4th-generation twin-cylinder, non-electric water softener that delivers softened water 24/7 — even while it’s regenerating. It’s compact enough to fit neatly under most kitchen sinks, yet powerful enough to handle the demands of busy family homes with ease.
If you want proven engineering, exceptional reliability, and a system that can last 20–30 years with proper maintenance — this is a strong choice.
Ideal for households of 1–6 people and available in different gearings, making it suitable for your local water hardness.
It works with any British domestic plumbing system, including gravity-fed systems, unvented hot water cylinders and combination boiler systems. It is also ideal for third-floor bathrooms, as it has the lowest pressure drop of any softener of its type.
Uses the original block salt (2 x 4kg). Efficient metered regeneration means it only regenerates when needed — helping keep salt and water usage sensible.
Please note that it is critical to use Grade A PDV salt in water softeners. Sea, lake or solar salt will invalidate the softener parts and labour warranty.
